Meet Craig
Craig Lewis, CPA, CFP® is an investment professional with more than 35 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry. He offers all the traditional, professional wealth management and investment services, including IRA rollovers. His current focus is on helping high net worth individuals acquire a diversified portfolio of fractional interests in professionally managed, income producing 1031 Replacement Properties, QOZ Funds, and other Private Placement Real Estate Funds. His philosophy is “Why Pay Taxes if You Don’t Have To?”
DAI Securities, L.L.C., with which he is a Registered Principal, helped their clients acquire Fractional Interests in well over $100 million of 1031 DST Exchange Property each of the last 5 years. In 2022 alone, they acquired over $425 million of DSTs and over $5 million of QOZ Fund properties for clients.
Craig began his career with KPMG, one of the largest international CPA firms. He earned his Certified Financial Planner professional certification in 1987. He is a Registered Securities and Options Principal successfully completing the Series 4, 7, 24, 28, and 63 Securities Exams. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from LA Tech University.
Craig has been named thirteen times as “One of the Nation’s Best Financial Advisors for Doctors” by Medical Economics Magazine. He is a member of the LA Society of CPAs, American Institute of CPAs, Tax and Estate Planning Council of Shreveport. He serves on the LCPA’s Estate & Financial Planning Committee.
Outside of the office, Craig enjoys duck hunting, archery elk hunting, fishing for redfish on the Louisiana and Texas Coasts, and white bass fishing on the Sabine River (La/Tx border). He is a Ducks Unlimited Diamond Lifetime Sponsor in Perpetuity, Elk Foundation Lifetime Sponsor, and a Coastal Conservation Association Lifetime Sponsor. He also supports Noel United Methodist Church, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Gingerbread House Child Advocacy Center, Providence House for Homeless Families, and many other charities.
Craig is a lifelong resident of Shreveport, Louisiana. His family heritage dates back to the 1800s in Shreveport. He owns land and timber properties throughout Northwest Louisiana.
His accomplishments would not have been possible without the loving support of his wife of over 40 years, Suzanne, with whom he shares two daughters and five grandchildren.
